Why isn't my Partial Payment displaying on an Excursion?

To ensure that the Partial Payment $___ flag displays on your activity management screen within an Excursion type activity, you need to first ensure that the Costs tab has been filled out. 
To do so, go to:
  • Activity (Type: Excursion)
  • Edit Activity 
  • Costs tab (top right) 
  • Fill in the details to ensure that the cost per-student is saved
  • Ensure Partial Payments option is switched on in Payments module
  • Go to Manage > Manage Permissions  Responses screen 
  • If the Paid Amount is left empty and Paid Option is set as "Yes" then system will assume this activity was fully paid! 
  • If the Paid Amount has been set and Paid Option is set as "Yes" then system will assume this activity was partially paid!
