How do I setup other classes for reports?

Primary Schools import roll classes from the data layer into a reporting period. 
Primary schools do not often have third party timetables to enable academic classes. 

To enable academic, language or specialist classes that differ to the roll classes, school have the ability to create classes. 
Go to the Sentral Setup Cog (admin access only) 

Go to data synchronisation > Manage Classes

 

Add Class and complete online class creation and Save.


the screen refreshes and enables you to add the students. Click on the 0 students hyperlink to add.


The filter option offers Year, House, roll class or class filtering to select the students. Once filtered, tick the students you wish to add and the Add Selection and Save. 




Once a student is placed in a class, it becomes active.
Schools can then ensure within the Reporting Period, these classes get imported and selected.
