How do I create a "service account" for my Visitor Kiosk?
Important to Note
This requires Administrator access to Sentral Attendance, setting up the Service Account requires Sentral Administrator access.
The first step is to create a service account.
Go to:
- Sentral Setup COG
- Manage Service Accounts
- Click +New Service Account
- Enter in name etc and set Restricted Function to Attendance Kiosk.
- Attendance Setup > Kiosk Setup
- Click Add Profile, under Kiosk Configurations.
- Enter a Name and PIN code. Select the Service Account you (or your administrator created for you) created previously
- Click Save.
You can now access the Kiosk directly by http://<YOURSENTRALSERVER>/kiosk?profile=<PROFILENAMEASABOVE>. We recommend you create a shortcut or bookmark accordingly.
