3PIv4 NSW - automatic absences export
3PI (3rd Party Integration) is a DOE NSW initiative for all public schools that will ensure enhanced data security and faster data access to 3rd party software suppliers, such as Sentral.
3PIv4 schools have already the automatic attendance data export enabled.
If you are not sure about your school and are wondering if your school has already the attendance data export process automated, there are several things you need to check (only by Administrators)
- Go to Sentral Setup (Cog)>Manage User Accounts>Data Sources>Administration Data>Data Source
3PIv4 schools would see this screen where the data source is named as: Sifnswdoe
- Go to Attendance Setup > General Settings > ensure the Export Automatically to 3PI is set to YES
If both the above are correct are valid for your school, then it means that your students' attendance data is automatically exported. If you did, you NO longer need to Manually export attendance data.
To verify, that's the case go to Attendance > search for any currently enrolled student that has Attendance data>go to a past date and click on the i button. In the History details it should have this info to confirm that Sifexport is enabled.
