Attendance - VIC Schools - Future Absence Requests defaulting to 211 Bereavement code

When parents use the Parent Portal to request a future absence, they can select from a variety of different reasons. If one of the reasons they select is no longer linked to an existing Cases absence code, this will result in the system automatically defaulting to 211 Bereavement in Sentral Attendance Future Absence Requests.


To rectify this, go to Portal Console module > Setup Portal Console > General > Future Absence Reasons. Delete any reasons linked to old Cases absence codes and add new reasons linked to the correct codes.
