How do I create a news feed article on the portal?

In order to add a newsfeed item into Portal:
  • Select the Sentral Waffle icon and navigate to the Portal Console located under School Admin Category 
  • Select the Newsfeed item > Add Newsfeed Item
  • Type the title of the news feed item
  • Add content to the item
  • Actionable item select the relevant flag requiring action
  • Enable Push Notification if required
  • Select the recipients
  • Select any relevant attachments, either from Portal Documents or from your local drive if relevant
  • Select Create
