Staff Absence data is set to be grabbed from the timetable data (In this case Edval) and means that all covers will need to be completed within that system and not the Staff Absences module. Due to this when the setting is set to Yes this greys out the covers and supervision section as the data is not being created within the Staff Absences module.
If your school is not putting covers in the Edval system / Edval daily, we would recommend having this set to No as this will mean cover data can be created within the Staff Absences module.
