How do I flag student with remote learning issues?

Even in remote education environments, Sentral understand that the requirements around recording and monitoring student wellbeing are still present. If your school is looking to just
highlight any students with remote learning issues, then Sentral would recommend using a custom flag approach. If your school wishes to record the individual issues around a student
remote learning (ie “no internet access”, “no study space at home”, “EALD” etc) then best solution may be to create a custom incident type in the Wellbeing module.



You can use custom flags as a ‘quick alert’ for staff that a student may have issues with remote learning (e.g. no internet access). Custom flags can be created under  Profiles Setup > Manual Student Flags.


Use the Add Flagg button to create your flag, choose where it will appear and customise the colour scheme.

  Students may be allocated the flag in bulk using the Manage Students interface in the Manual Student Flags menu or individually assigned within the student’s Profile screen using the Set Flag button:
