What do asterisk represent on timetable view?

A single asterisk represents the first period that a student is required to attend for the day according to your flexible timetable settings.
The double asterisk represents the last period required to attend for the day according to flexible timetable setup. This allows a student to sign out using early leave authorised: flexible from the end time of the period marked **.

If a student attempts to sign in or out outside of these allowed period times, the kiosk will automatically assign a reflected flexible and create a flexible late/early for the authorised time.
If a student attempts to sign in or out inside of these allowed period times, the kiosk will automatically assign a reflected flexible and create an unexplained late/early for the unauthorised time.

Your Flexible Timetable settings can be viewed in Timetables, under;
  • Setup Timetables
  • Flexible Timetable
