Extension Classes are listed a mainstream Classes, why?

Edval DOES NOT have a concept of "Course" (nowhere to input a course in setup) and 'creates' a Course based on the naming conventions of the Class Code.

Class Name does not match the Class Code being displayed in Timetables. This may occur for extension classes.

The issue arises where a Class Code does not allow Edval to logically (in Edval terms) create a Course Code with subsequent Class Codes for it to follow the above equation.

This means basically where a school doesn't put numbers at the end of their Class Codes for Edval to detect as a unique ID.

Example: 12AB and 12AG << both of those will produce a course code of "12A" with a class no of "B" and "G"

Edval will then error out and tell us that they're the same subject/course because of that, when they are not.

To resolve above example, best to re-name classes along the lines of: 12A.2 and 12A.7 resulting in Course Code: 12A and Classes 2(B) and 7(G)

  1. Do a sync WITHOUT renaming the classes first (which populates the GUIDs, or globally unique identifiers that persist across renames, for the existing classes)

  1. Rename class in Edval

  1. Resync
