Why does a sports period appear in PXP but not in timetables or student portal?

One reason could be that the period was created manually within PXP and not synced across from your timetable package.  

A staff member with admin access can add periods to PXP and you will see in the example that it does not link to an external timetabling source.  

Accessing the timetable module and clicking Setup Timetables (top right) and clicking Period times shows the current data we are showing in the timetables module. This will also prove that sport period is not included in timetables. 

Go to PXP Setup > Timetable/Period Setup > Click a period to view Timetable Syncing
