Can I edit existing continuums to suit my school requirements?

There are currently two ways to make changes to existing curriculums.

Option 1

  • Each continuum will have an Options button aligned to it under Continuum Tracker Setup in the Manage Continuums menu.
  • Under Options you can choose to Export CSV.

A CSV file can be opened in Microsoft Excel, and the clusters, aspects and markers can be changed, added and rearranged.

The CSV file can then be imported back into Sentral under the Mange Continuums menu by clicking the green Import button.

Option Two

Each continuum can be edited directly within Sentral. Under the Clusters menu, new clusters can be added, and existing clusters may be renamed.

Go to Mange Continuums > select the Category > Click on the Continuum > Cluster

The Cluster Mapping menu can be used to allocate clusters to an aspect. Continuum aspects should correlate to the Stands and Modes in your Victorian subjects.

The Edit Markers menu can be used to either add completely new markers to your cluster, or to move existing markers from a pre-made cluster to your new one. You can click and drag on the handle  to the left of any marker to move it.

You might use either method to transform a continuum divided into Levels (e.g. Level 1, Level 2, Level 3) into a continuum divided into progression points (e.g. F, F.5, 1, 1.5). A continuum divided into progression points will not need further manipulation to import successfully into Academic Reports.
