How do I set Year 12 last Attendance Date?

Note: The year 12 last attendance date setting requires Administrator level access to Sentral Attendance.

Why would schools wish to set this for Year 12's?

Some enrolment procedures require year 12 students to be enrolled to the end of the academic year, this setting will remove the student from the rolls for attendance purposes and will not allow attendance data to be entered for the student/s after the last attendance date.

e.g
Student John Brown has last attendance date = Friday 4/11/2021. On this date John Brown will appear on the official roll class
On Monday 7/11/2021, John Brown will not appear in official roll class
On Monday 7/11/2021, Staff will not be able to manually enter absences etc.. for John Brown, however John Browns attendance history will still be visible.

Navigate to

  • Attendance > Setup Attendance > Year 12 Last Attendance Date
Please note: Schools should consult their HSLO/Attendance officer regarding the attendance requirements for year 12 students including the last attendance date for official rolls.
