How do I receive a payment for a fee?

Steps

1.    Go to Finance module

2.    Use the Search Finance field (top right) to look up the Student or Contact (Parent). Depending on your selection (that is, student or contact), the Student Overview screen or Contact Overview screen displays.

3.    Select Fees.

4.    Use the checkboxes to select one or more fees to receive payment for.

5.    Select Actions and choose Receive a Payment.

If the Contact has Credit available and you want to use this as full or part payment:
    i.   Select the fee item Pay button.
    ii.  Select the pay method (via Credit) and amount to allocate.
    iii. Select Apply.
    If no Credit is available:
    i.    Select Pay
    ii.   Select the pay method and complete any associated details.

6. Enter the Cash Tendered.
7. Select Confirm to complete.
