How do I add Epipens and Inhalers? - NSW Department of Education

There are three inbuilt medications that you cannot edit or delete:
- EpiPen Standard
- EpiPen Junior
- Asthma Inhalers.
To add a new stock item for inbuilt medications..
1. Select the menu icon and choose Health.
2. Select Setup on the menu bar and choose Health Setup.
3. Select Medication in the left menu and choose Medications.
4. Select View Items next to an inbuilt EpiPen Junior, EpiPen Standard, or Asthma Inhaler medication.
5. Select Add New Item.
6. Enter details for the new item.
— Assigned to – If you selected Student, then use the search box to search for the student.
— Medication Expiry Date
— Brand
— Batch Number
— Reference Number
— Dosage – enter a number value.
— Storage Location – select from the list. This is based on the locations added to Setup Health | Locations.
— Uses Remaining – for asthma inhalers, enter a number value.
7. Select Save.
