How do I create a fee for an activity and publish to the portal?

To create and publish fees that are linked to an activity –
1. Navigate to the Finance module
2. Select Fee Creation to expand the menu, then select Standalone fee
3. Enter a name for the standalone fee run (recommended to use the activity name).
4. In Item, select excursion or similar from the Fee Item dropdown menu
5. Enter the Amount Incl Tax
6. In the Link to Activity dropdown select the relevant activity
7. Below Who to Bill select Activity Group from dropdown, then select the activity.
8. (Optional) Check the box to Include only students with permission.
   A List of students linked to the activity will display.
9. Select Generate

To then publish the outstanding fee to the Parent Portal.
10. Select Registers from the left hand side menu
11. Select Fee Register
12. Using the Filters and Fee Status select Authorised
13. In the Activities section select the relevant activity from the dropdown.
14. Select Filter. A list of fees will display
15. Do one of the following:
      a. check the box of the very top of the list to select all fees
      b. check the boxes of the students you wish to publish the fee to portal.
16. Select Actions on the left and select Publish to Portal from the dropdown. A preview of fees will display.


      

17. Select Publish
