How to set up a Donation request

Sentral allows schools to request a donation towards a schools building fund. This is a permanent request that is viewable in the parent Portal. Sentral automatically creates a fee and receipt on the successful payment from the parent.

To setup a donation request:

1. From the Finance module, select Fee Creation.
3. Select Donations.
4. Select Add Donation Type.
5. Ensure the following fields are populated:
    a. Donation Type Name to be seen by the parents in the portal.
    b. Fee Category – Selection available. This will populate the Account, Tax and Fund Code.
    c. Internal Order – Selection available.
    d. Suggested amount, minimum amount, and maximum amount.
    e. Description to be seen by the parents via the Portal.
    f. Show in Portal - If the Donation request should be displayed in the Portal.
    g. Cost Centre – Selection available.
5. Select Save.
