I cannot access any modules externally. How can I set this up ?

Sentral enforces a different level of access when you are "off-campus". You have logged into your system and found that there are restrictions currently in place on the applications when accessing Sentral from Outside the School's network.  

NOTE:This does not affect cloud based schools. 

Important to note
This requires Sentral Administrator acess.

To allow access to the different aspects of 
Sentral, you will need to go to: 
  • Sentral Setup Cog > Outside School Access
Here you'll note listed against the applications listing a drop-down, currently stating 'Not Available'.  You want to select either 'Restricted' or 'Available' for each of the applications, according to how you want to make them accessible from off-site.  
  • Restricted enables you to allow access for specific Users or User Groups, not all staff; and 
  • Available enables all logged in staff to access the application from off-site.
Please note: Restricted applications will appear in Grey, and when an authorized User clicks on it, will be able to gain access. 
Once you have made your selections, click 'Apply Changes' to save and regenerate the settings to enable these applications to be accessible as applied.
