A parent has submitted a Family Amendment Request, where does this go?

Sentral Student and Parent portal allows parents to submit an amendment request, in the case of details being incorrectly collected, or if they change.

Important to note
Family Amendment details are not automatically updated, amendment requests are purely informational.
The changes will need to be entered manually into your administration system, and will then automatically be updated in Sentral.

Profiles version 1
If you use Profiles 1, you can get access to Amendments in Profiles version 1.

Profiles version 2
Amendments do not exist in Profiles version 2. Instead, you'll find Amendments in the Health and Portal Console modules.


When a Parent submits a Family Details Amendment Request, you will find the details of these within: 
  • Click on Profiles and go to Profiles 1
  • Click on the drop-down arrow next to Amendments on the left hand side of the screen.
  • Click on Family Detail Amendment Requests.

For schools using Profiles version 2, this information flows into the Health and Portal Console modules.

  1. On the Portal Console home screen, under Amendments, select either Medical Amendment Requests or Family Amendment Requests.
    Pending requests are displayed by default.
  2. Select an option in the left menu to view Completed, Approved, and Rejected requests.



  1. Click on View Details to assess the changes and if files in enrolments need to be updated.
