My attendance slips are not printing correctly. How can I fix this?

Whether running a kiosk, or at a dedicated machine, Sentral Attendance can be setup to print attendance slips, such as late arrivals for a student diary.

Important to Note
Some of these may require technical help, or local administrator access to your PC.
Some steps require Administrator level access to Sentral  School Attendance.

I am printing partial slips, but they are using too much paper.

Check if the correct drivers for the printer are installed and the printer is set to the default printer on your computer.

Change the header and footer  settings in your web browser.
For Internet Explorer go to file on the left (you may need to press ALT on your keyboard if you can’t see File) then go to Page Setup.
Check all headers and footers  fields are set to just Empty.

I am having some issues printing slips automatically from my Attendance Kiosk.

An attendance kiosk has quite a few "moving parts" to get working. Sentral recommends using Google Chrome for your attendance kiosk.
A recent Google Chrome update has disabled Java. You can manually enable it by;

  • In your URL bar, enter: chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
  • Click the Enable link for the Enable NPAPI configuration option.
  • Click the Relaunch button that now appears at the bottom of the configuration page.

Ensure that Java is up to date. You can check this here: www.java.com/verify
Ensure that your printer is set to default
If this does not rectify the problem, please contact the Sentral Helpdesk.
