Sentral Messaging will allow you to create your own groups, and to populate these groups with existing contacts.
- Go to Messaging > Address Book > Groups
- Click Add Group.
- A popup will be displayed. Enter the Name of your Group. Your new group has been created.
- Select your newly created group under Groups on the right hand column
- If your group has any existing members, you will see them listed in the Members section
- On the right hand side of the Members section, click Add. You can either Add a single contact, or an entire cohort.
- Search for the contact or cohort you are looking for. Click on the persons/cohort name, and they will appear on the right hand side of the popup.
- You can then search again.
- Click OK when done.
- You can also View Member details or Unassign them from this group
NOTE: Best practice requires you review all groupings prior to the new school year as parents/students leave and groups and cohorts change
