How do I reset my rolls at the start of the year?

Each year the roll allocations need to be reset to prevent the previous year’s allocations from remaining as ‘ghosts’ If you have ‘ghost’ rolls they will have (inactive) (year) after the roll class code:

Important to Note
This requires Administrator level access to Attendance.
For Auto Assign to work correctly, your new Timetable information needs to be reflected in Sentral Timetables.

  • Go to School Attendance > School Attendance Setup > Roll Assignments
  • First click the red Reset User Rolls button to remove all last years roll assignments.
  • THEN click the black Auto Assign Users button. Once complete, any users without a roll assignment can be manually allocated a roll or rolls by clicking the Edit Assignments button next to their name and selecting the appropriate class(es).

Rolls should automatically assign to new roll class teachers
