How do I Import Data from CASES21?

If you do not see the reports mentioned below, please see these articles to create them:

Run Queries and Save
Choose the first Sentral file (Staff) and click on ‘Run Export”



Confirm if asked the correct ‘save’ location for the file


When the save is finished(green line acroos bottom will show you how much to go) then close the window and repeat for the 2nd Sentral file (Students)

Importing data into Sentral for the first time
  • Login to Sentral as an administrator:
  • Click on the administrator cog next to logout
  • Choose the Data Synchronisation menu item

You need to upload the Sentral-students.csv file in the first browse window on the right hand menu and the Sentral-staff into the 2nd browse window on the right hand menu.
Once these are both ready click on the upload button.




Finally click the Green 'Synchronise Now' button

:
If the files are stored only on the Admin server then the export of files and subsequent upload of files will need to be repeated once a week’.
If the files are exported to the Curriculum server, then the school will only have to export the files from Cases21 weekly. The upload and synchronisation process can be automated
