Enrolments will allow you to enter a record which may not yet be complete or will not
become active until the student record is complete and current. If you have added a
student and they do not appear in the rest of Sentral (note that it may take a few minutes
before this occurs), you should check the following:
- Ensure the student is attached to a household
- Ensure that at least ONE household under the student is set as the residential
location for this student. This is located under the student’s Household submenu
by adjusting the setting Residential Household for This Student.
- Check the student has an enrolment status of Active under the Enrolment submenu
of the student, and that the Enrolment Date is not blank or a date in the
future. A student will automatically appear in the rest of Sentral once their
enrolment date is before or equal to today’s date.
- Check the student’s Enrolment Date falls within the defined dates for the
current Academic Period. The Academic Period start/end date should typically
be the FULL calendar year for southern hemisphere schools (i.e. 01/01/2021 through 31/12/2021) – actual school dates are defined within this in the overall
Sentral Term Dates and Holidays area of Setup.
