How do I setup the ability to Award Students via PxP Quick Incidents?

You can setup Category Details within Wellbeing to link to PxP Rolls as a Quick Incident, which can then be tallied up using the Wellbeing application. To enable Quick Incident entry via PxP, go to:
  • Class PxP > Class PxP Setup > Roll Display Options
  • set Enable Quick Incidents: Yes
  • Save to apply.
To setup the Wellbeing Category (eg. Positive Behaviour for Learning) to link with PxP, go to:
  • Wellbeing > Wellbeing Setup > Categories
  • Edit the Category
  • Add a New Category Incident Type that matches the name of the Award to be selected
  • Here you'll find the field: Allow as a Quick Incident with Label - create a 4-character code that staff will associate with this Incident Type from within Class PxP.
You need to ensure that the 'Award' option is linked as a Follow Up Action to the Category type. If not already setup, go to:
(Still under Setup Wellbeing)
  • Categories > Edit the Category
  • Scroll down and click Add Follow Up Action
  • select 'Award' from the drop-down
  • Save to apply

To ensure that the Award is automatically selected upon creation of a Quick Incident via PxP:
(Still in the Edit Category screen - under Follow Up Actions)
  • click on Options aligned with Award (added above)
  • select Configure Follow Up Action
  • set Always On:  Yes
  • set Auto Resolve Selection: Yes

Once this has been configured, when Staff mark their PxP roll, they'll be able to:
  • check against the student(s) to have the Incident applied
  • select the Quick Incident type to be created
  • Save to apply.

If a single student is checked in Class PxP > award added > the incident created will be for the individual student alone. If the class teacher checks multiple students for a Quick Incident, the Wellbeing incident will create a single incident attaching these students.
