Why is a Removed User Still Assigned as a Class Teacher?
This requires Sentral Administrator level access
This is by design, as, if the system automatically dropped Staff Roles assignments, then this would result in deleting historical data within the Reports module. To ensure this does not occur, before removing a user from Sentral Setup > Manage User Accounts, ensure that you navigate to any open reporting periods and navigate to:
- Markbook Setup > Staff Roles
- click on the staff member's name
- de-select any Markbooks/Classes assigned as required
- Save to apply.
If you forget to unassign someone prior to their having been removed, you will need to reinstate the user, by going to:
- Sentral Setup Cog > Manage User Accounts
- Deactivated Users (left menu)
- find the user in the list and click the Reinstate button aligned with their name
- then run through the steps above to clear their role.
Once updated, then remove them again under Sentral Setup Cog > Manage User Accounts > click Remove against their user account.
